Together, the Royal Canadian Mint and Canada Post have produced a large variety of coin & stamp sets to commemorate many different historical occasions. Some examples include: Canadian Navy centennial, centennial of the Sinking of the Titanic, Calgary Stampede centennial, Royal Canadian Mint centennial, and the Montreal Canadiens centennial among many others.
2000 Canada Tall Ships Halifax 10 Cents Coin & Stamp Set Canada Post is proud to present this Limited edition (15,000) commemorative stamp and coin set celebrating the gathering of the world's tall ships in Halifax harbour in July 2000. Two esquisitely detailed stamps, one a mint issue and the other featuring an official Canada Post cancellation reflecting the day-of-issue.
